Pneumatic Manifolds – Push-In Distributors for Compressed Air Distribution
One inlet, multiple outlets – the manifold distributes compressed air from a central supply line to several hose lines without additional control technology. STASTO offers compact pneumatic push-in manifolds in the PI79C, PI90C, and PI95C series: available as 3-way, 4-way, and 6-way versions, with hose connections from 4 to 10 mm and male threads from R1/8" to R1/2". The passive distributor function ensures a clean, space-saving distribution of compressed air to multiple consumers – from tools to production stations.
Passive Compressed Air Distribution
Your Advantages
Why Choose STASTO Multi-Outlet Distributors
Compact plug-in distributors for pure compressed air distribution: one inlet, multiple outlets, common connection sizes, and a range that fits seamlessly into the STASTO program for connectors and couplings.
One Inlet, Multiple Outlets
The central compressed air supply is split across several hose lines – ideal when multiple consumers need to be supplied from one line.
Passive Distributor Without Control
Pure distribution function – no valve, no control logic. For simple splitting of compressed air without additional pneumatic control technology.
Three Matched Series
PI95C (3-way), PI79C (4-way), and PI90C (6-way) cover different outlet counts – depending on the number of connections required.
Common connection sizes in PBT
Hose diameters 4, 6, 8 and 10 mm combined with male thread R1/8", R1/4", R3/8" and R1/2" – PBT material, lightweight and corrosion-resistant.
Guide
Choosing the Right Multi-Way Distributor
The number of outlets, hose diameter and connection thread determine the right series. And note: a passive plug-in distributor is deliberately different from a distributor rail with valve function.
Selection Criteria Step by Step
- Number of outlets
- The number of consumers to be supplied determines the series: PI95C for 3-way, PI79C for 4-way, PI90C for 6-way.
- Hose diameter
- The series cover the common diameters of 4, 6, 8 and 10 mm. The diameter should match the hose line and the required flow rate.
- Inlet connection thread
- Available with male thread R1/8", R1/4", R3/8" or R1/2" – matched to the existing supply line.
- Material and operating conditions
- The PI series are made of PBT. Please check the permissible pressure and temperature range per variant in the datasheet; for special requirements we're happy to advise.
Terms and Distinctions
- Multi-way distributor / plug-in distributor
- Passive connecting element that distributes compressed air from one inlet to multiple outlets – also referred to as a distributor block.
- Distributor Bar with Control
- A distributor bar with valve or control function also switches. If you only want to distribute without switching, the multi-outlet distributor is the leaner choice.
- T- and Cross-Distributors
- For simple branch-offs in the line: T- and cross-distributors in metal and plastic versions.
- Coupling Socket Distributor
- 2- and 3-way distributors DN 7.2 for quick coupling systems in workshop and assembly applications.

Application Areas
Where multi-outlet manifolds are used
Wherever compressed air from a single line needs to be split between multiple consumers – the manifold handles distribution, not control.
Workshop & Assembly
Supplying multiple pneumatic tools or workstations from a central supply line – compact and clearly arranged.
Machine & Plant Engineering
Compact air distribution to assemblies, cylinders, or grippers within a single station.
Production Lines
Splitting compressed air to multiple process points along the line – without a separate valve manifold.
Test & Fixture Construction
Clean air supply to multiple connection points in confined installation space.
Packaging & Handling
Distribution of compressed air to multiple blow and handling points in packaging stations.
Technical Systems
Distribution to multiple connection points; suitability for the respective environment should be checked per variant and material.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions about manifolds
Answers on function, series, connection sizes and the difference from distributor rails.
What is a manifold in pneumatics?
A manifold is a passive connecting component that distributes compressed air from one inlet to multiple outlets. It is also known as a push-in manifold or distributor block and — unlike a distributor rail with valves — has no control function.
Which manifolds does STASTO offer?
STASTO offers the series PI79C (4-way), PI90C (6-way) and PI95C (3-way). All series are made of PBT, with tube diameters from 4 to 10 mm and male threads from R1/8" to R1/2".
What's the difference between a manifold and a distributor rail?
The manifold distributes compressed air purely passively, while a distributor rail with valve or control function also switches. These are therefore two different product types — for pure distribution tasks, the manifold is sufficient.
Which connection sizes are available?
Depending on the series and variant, tube diameters of 4, 6, 8 or 10 mm and male threads of R1/8", R1/4", R3/8" or R1/2" are available. Refer to the respective variant for the exact combination.
What operating pressure and temperature can the manifolds withstand?
These values depend on the specific series and variant. Please refer to the datasheet of the selected variant or contact our technical sales team.
Does STASTO also offer coupling or T-manifolds?
Yes. In addition to the PI push-in manifolds, there are 2- and 3-way coupling socket manifolds DN 7.2 as well as T- and cross-manifolds in metal and plastic versions.
Are the manifolds available from stock?
Availability varies by version. You can check the current status on the respective product page; versions not listed can be clarified on request.
How many consumers can a multi-outlet manifold supply?
Depending on the series, 3, 4, or 6 consumers – corresponding to the number of outlets. For higher demand, several manifolds can be combined; we're happy to help determine the correct sizing based on flow rate.
